Transport Operations Assistant

Role Responsibilities
• Updating and forwarding load out transport reports to various suppliers
• Allocation of truck batches on stock reports to supplier transport invoices
• Signing off on transport invoices.
• Participate in daily logistic planning meetings
• Support Logistics team with shipping instructions to warehouses for packing containers
• Support logistics team for shipment sampling
• Capturing daily movements of stock in required system
• Other transport and logistics activities that may be required
• Build relationships with suppliers
• Collaborate with logistics team members to ensure team objectives are met

What we would love to see:
• Ideally a candidate with 2-3 years experience in shipping/logistics/freight forwarding OR a
logistics/supply chain/transport Graduate with a desire to start a career in these areas in a fast
paced mining and commodities sector
• Experienced candidates must have a logistics/supply chain/transport degree and show post
qualification experience in these areas
• Someone who is a quick learner, takes initiative, works hard, can work in a changing, flexible
environment that is highly pressured and entrepreneurial
• A candidate who is passionate about logistics and wants to grow their career through the
