Business Development Consultant Job, Gauteng or Cape Town

Rapidly growing company in the fintech industry is looking for an ambitious individual with a talent for business growth. Your role will be almost entirely focused on growing the lead volume that comes through the business through improvement of existing, and growth of new partners who refer clients, as well as developing a deal pipeline of high-value customers who are looking for loans of R1 million and above.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include:
 Growing the number of small business applicants every month.
 Growing the number of affiliates (people who refer businesses) every month.
 Improving the existing affiliate relationships.
 Creating a stable deal pipeline for high value business customers who are looking for loan amounts of greater than R1 million.
 Working with and advising the management team on new channels for growth.
 Working with the marketing team on campaigns and initiatives to improve the overall growth of the business.

Must-Haves:
 A knack for sales.
 A track record of growth performance.
 A logical way of operating and dealing with affiliates, so none feel neglected.
 Ability to work in a team, and independently. Your role requires both.
 An ambitious mindset. Your role will likely have a favourable commission structure.

Good-to-Haves:
 A knowledge of, or background in small business.
 Some experience or knowledge of the marketplace/aggregator business model.
