A small company operating in the catering industry is currently recruiting an Administrative Clerk to assist the technical manager and technical team with administrative support. The successful incumbent will also assist the finance team in maintaining reliable financial accounting information. Position will be based in Maitland, Cape Town, full time in-office.
Administrative Clerk Job Maitland, Cape Town
Technical Administration – Client focus
- Receive and log all calls
- Corresponding with customers on status of repair, possible delays and completion dates
- Courtesy calls obtaining information on repairs done, possible future repairs and general status of equipment
Technical Administration – Accounts focus
- Track all supplier invoices and linking it to relevant jobcards
- Process jobcards which consists of costing, obtaining approvals and submission for invoicing.
- Tracking reports on monthly basis
Technical Administration – Admin focus
- Ability to direct technicians to various jobs
- Following up on completion of jobs
- Supply technical manager with weekly reports on (jobcard tracking, technicians hours and progress on department meeting targets
